William Robert Braddock III, a Florida man, has been indicted for threatening to kill a political opponent. Photo credit: Bureau of Immigration, Philippines.
On June 8, 2021, Braddock made several threats to injure and kill these two people during a telephone call, according to a Department of Justice statement.
Braddock allegedly made direct threats against his primary opponent, according to an indictment obtained by The Daily Muck.
“I really don’t want to have to end anybody’s life for the good of the people of the United States of America. That will break my heart. But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done. (The victim) is a f—ing speed bump in the road. She’s a dead squirrel you run over every day when you leave the neighborhood,” Braddock allegedly said during a phone call.
Also, speaking about his opponent, Braddock allegedly said, “She is just fucking done. Please do not associate yourself with her because anybody around her might be a target. Russian mafia… close battle combat TEC-9s, MAC-10s, silencers kind of thing. No snipers… up close and personal so they know the person, they know the target is gone.”
After these threats, Braddock left the United States and was found in the Philippines. He was deported back to the U. S to face charges, including one count of interstate transmission of a true threat to injure another person, according to the press release.
If found guilty, Braddock could spend up to five years in prison
